Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Cooper has recently discovered the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I have been really anti-tv with Cooper. I didn't want him to be that child that was constantly watching tv. The only thing he ever watched was "Baby Signing Time". Well I think I have created a monster. He is always asking for "Mouck". It is a mixture of mickey and mouse. He throws a bit of a fit if you tell him "NO". I keep quite a few recorded on the DVR so that we can rotate and play different ones. It really is the only show he cares to watch. I don't get it. I have never really been a fan of Mickey Mouse. I actually thought this show was quite annoying when I first saw it. Cooper on the other hand LOVES it! He loves the songs, and the all the different animals, but most of all the final song the "Hot Dog Dance". When that song comes on he dances and wants you to dance with him. He likes when you rewind it so he can do the song over and over. The cutest part however is when in the show they say for "Oh Tootles" Cooper with his cute little voice says "Tootles". I can't get enough of it!!!! If he sees Mickey anywhere when we are out he gets so excited! I guess if he is going to be watching a show I guess it is good that it is somewhat of a learning show. We keep it limited of how much he can actually watch it each day. If Cooper had it his way it would be on all day long.

I am that crazy person that is always dancing around my house. Mr. C has become my little dancing buddy. Brad just thinks we are nuts! But Mr. C enjoys it and thinks I rock! Usually it is crazy dancing to upbeat songs. I am a horrible dancer so it's an adventure seeing what we come up with. Mr. C's classic move is spinning in circles.

Just awhile ago I was introduced to Pandora. How had I never heard of it??? It is our new best friend. Baby and I listen to music all day long! One of our new favorites are Disney songs :) They are just classic and fun to dance with baby too and you can't help but singing along as well. Again this is something only Mr. C would appreciate :) The other night a slow song came on so we slowed things down a bit. Baby loved it!

Dancing Coop

Every time Cooper hears music he starts dancing. It doesn't matter if he is in the car, high chair, in the middle of playing, he stops to notice the music and then dances. I have been horrible at catching it on camera. I love that he dances so much. He is such a happy baby and just has fun with everything. I swear my child really usually has clothes on for most of the day. Although you wouldn't guess that by how many pictures we have of Cooper not fully dressed. This just happened to be after dinner and he had gotten too messy....yet again. So the shirt had to go. I love that when he noticed we were laughing at him dancing that he got even more into it and so proud of what he was doing.

New Years Eve

New Year's Eve came so quickly this year. Normally we have a huge get together with friends and hang out late and make a fun night out of it. This year was a little different. We just weren't in the mood to put a huge party together and really everyone has kids so it makes it so much harder for everyone to stay out late and also enjoy themselves. We still got together with a few friends but it definitely wasn't what it normally is. We went to dinner with our friends Nikki and Tim. Luckily that was the only time we drove anywhere that day because it snowed all day long. After dinner we went to our friends Luke and Codie's house who live just across the street from us. It was nice not driving and having to be out late in the bad weather and with all the people that had been drinking.We got there about 8:30. I fed Cooper his oatmeal and then laid him down. He went right to sleep and stayed asleep the whole night which I was super happy about. A few other couples in our neighborhood came over and we hung out until midnight. We snacked and had sparkling cider and it was just a pretty mellow but fun evening. One of them got the Xbox Kinect for Christmas so we played that ALL night. It was so much fun. There was this dancing game that we played for hours. It was hilarious watching everyone dance. I am probably the worst dancer you will ever meet but for some reason I was amazing at this game. I killed everyone who battled me and I would get awesome scores! I will be the first one to admit I am very competitive so it was nice to dominate at something :)

Brad was the funniest to watch though. He gets this "Gay Guy" disposition when he starts dancing. We were all dying. It's kind of a long video but SO WORTH watching!!!
