Ah where to begin. Well the first exciting thing that happened is that I GRADUATED! I couldn't be more happy to be done with college. It was perfect timing too. My last day of student teaching was June 11th so I finished just a month before Coop came. I got my degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education (I know a mouthful). I was also teaching preschool and I finished there June 18th. I miss teaching preschool but I LOVE being a stay at home mom now. Nothing is better. I am so blessed that Brad has a great job that allows me to stay home.
Once July hit all the excitement really began. I was due July 13th but Cooper wasn't ready to come. At my appointment on July 14th I had high blood pressure so my Dr. decided to induce me the next day. I got induced at 7:30 a.m. and was able to go about 3 hours until I got my epidural. It was the best thing in the world. I don't know how people go through labor without one! I couldn't have gotten it at a better time because with each contraction my blood pressure would jump and that was worrying them considering it was already high to begin with. Coop then decided he was going to make things interesting...His heart rate kept dropping really low and staying low. It was really scary and they almost rushed me into a C-section a few times. But luckily we didn't have to and after only 8 1/2 hours of labor on July 15th Cooper William Harline weighing 8 lbs. 7 oz measuring 21 in. decided to arrive. It was amazing!

Things since Coop have arrived have been very exciting. He is now 6 weeks old and is getting so big. He has started smiling and is such a happy baby. He sleeps amazing at night from about 10:30 until 4 or 5 and then goes back down (without any hassle) until it's time to get up at 7. I have been doing Baby Wise and it has done wonders. He is doing great with his 3 hour schedule. He eats, has wake time, and then goes down for his nap before it's time to do it all over again. I love my little guy and couldn't be happier! He is perfect and has made our little family even better. This has been a really long post already so I will do another one soon with some more recent pics. I hope you enjoy our little blog!!!
